A big thank you to Dan Harris for my Jean Baptist Point du Sable character. The artist has more liberties when people don’t really actually know what this guy looked like. Supposedly there was a drawing in a journal somewhere, but who really knows if it looked anything like the man. We also get to highlight two of the best cities in the world this week, Chicago and Sydney. My map making days remind me of the rule that river fonts are to be italicized, blue, and flowing along the river line. I didn’t have a lower case in that particular font, so it will have to do.
