About this Page:

This was a fun page to create because I’ve always been fascinated with the concept of upside-down maps. It was a smack-in-the-head moment that was fundamental in starting my journey to perceive the world from a different perspective. I love the Australia-centered maps, and even bought one when on my journeys there (not that you can’t get them on Amazon).

Supposedly, a man named Stewart McArthur thought it up as a boy and then refined it as an adult, just in time for Australia Day (that Australia just got rid of). Below is an exciting flipped classroom video about the McArthur story and his map.
